The additional Airbus order is valued at $3.4 billion (based on list prices), and once all are delivered, Emirates' A350-900 fleet will expand to 73 aircraft. Currently, Emirates has received 13 A350 aircraft, and the additional A350-900 aircraft orders are expected to be delivered gradually starting in 2031. Emirates has cumulatively ordered 315 wide-body aircraft from Boeing, including 270 Boeing 777X aircraft, 10 Boeing 777 freighters, and 35 Boeing 787 aircraft. Along with this additional purchase of 130 engines, Emirates has ordered a total of 540 GE9X engines from GE Aviation. The latest agreement signed between Emirates and Boeing further supports Boeing's feasibility study for the development of the 777-10 model; the 777-10 will join the 777X series as a larger new member. According to the agreement, Emirates also has the flexibility to convert its 777-9 orders to 777-8 or 777-10 models to more effectively deploy its future fleet development.
