Fulai New Material launches third-generation electronic skin products, ushering in a new era of robotic "tactile intelligent TPU."
On November 27th, Fulai New Material held a third-generation product launch and investor communication meeting in Shanghai, officially introducing the third-generation electronic skin (i.e., "flexible sensor") product. Chen Shuting, Chief Scientist of Fulai New Material, introduced that the third-generation product is equipped with a Tactile Processing Unit (TPU), which can perform edge computing at the fingertips, rather than concentrating all processing in the "brain" of the robot. It outputs not just a simple "I have touched something," but directly tells the brain: "What I am touching is." As a result, this product achieves a leap from "raw data" to "intelligent touch."
