# S&P barely extends its winning streak to seven months

The S&P 500 Index closed up 36.48 points, an increase of 0.54%, at 6849.09 points, with a cumulative increase of 3.73% for the week and a cumulative increase of 0.13% for November.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 289.30 points, an increase of 0.61%, at 47716.42 points, with a cumulative increase of 3.18% for the week and a cumulative increase of 0.32% for November.

The NASDAQ Composite Index closed up 150.996 points, an increase of 0.65%, at 23365.686 points, with a cumulative increase of 4.91% for the week and a cumulative decrease of 1.51% for November.

The NASDAQ 100 Index closed up 197.95 points, an increase of 0.78%, at 25434.889 points, with a cumulative increase of 4.93% for the week.

The NASDAQ Technology Market Capitalization Weighted Index closed up 0.83%, at 2365.1016 points, with a cumulative increase of 6.25% for the week.

The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index closed up 0.08%, at 5818.03 points, with a cumulative increase of 3.82% for the week.

The Russell 2000 Index closed up 0.58%, at 2500.434 points; the S&P SmallCap 600 Index closed flat at 1470.05 points.

The S&P MidCap 400 Index closed up 0.45%, at 3308.49 points.

The NASDAQ US MidCap Index rose 0.59%, at 3449.8303 points.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index closed up 1.82%, at 7025.15 points, with a cumulative increase of 9.66% for the week.

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange KBW Bank Index closed up 0.66%, at 154.14 points, with a cumulative increase of 4.05% for the week.

The Dow Jones KBW Regional Bank Index closed down 0.53%, at 120.92 points, with a cumulative increase of 1.95% for the week.

The VIX (Volatility Index) closed down 5.00%, at 16.35
