According to data released by the Hong Kong Association of Banks on December 8, the 1-month HIBOR is reported at 3.09571%, an increase of 2.06 basis points from the previous trading day. ## Short-term interbank rates generally decline The overnight interbank rate fell by 28.98 basis points, reported at 1.79048%; the 1-week interbank rate fell by 9.7 basis points, reported at 2.1575%; the 2-week interbank rate also fell by 8.04 basis points to 2.25917%. ## Medium to long-term rates develop individually In terms of medium to long-term rates, the 2-month interbank rate fell by 1.14 basis points, reported at 3.06839%; the 3-month interbank rate fell by 1.53 basis points, reported at 3.05661%.
