# The Half-Day Report: The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,549 points, down 215 points; the Hang Seng TECH Index closed at 5,587 points, down 74 points. XINYI GLASS fell over 6%, while Brilliance China hit a new high

> The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,549 points, down 215 points or 0.8%; the Hang Seng TECH Index reported 5,587 points, down 74 points or 1.3%. XINYI GLASS fell 6.2%, while Brilliance China reached a new high. Major stocks such as Xiaomi, Meituan, Ping An, Tencent, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Alibaba generally declined. WuXi Biologics rose 3%, while Yixin Group and Lion Rock Holdings increased by 11.5% and 11%, respectively

The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,549 points, down 215 points or 0.8%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 5,587 points, down 74 points or 1.3%. The National Index fell 101 points or 1.1%, closing at 8,981 points.

Meituan (03690.HK) closed at HKD 98.1, down 1.4%;

Ping An (02318.HK) closed at HKD 61.05, down 1.1%;

Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388.HK) closed at HKD 402, down 0.6%;

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 152.7, down 0.5%;
