Gina Paulwin of Paulwin Wealth Management stated in a report that the Federal Reserve has sent a clear message with its third consecutive interest rate cut: it is no longer solely focused on inflation but is managing risks.

She pointed out that this decision reflects growing concerns about the underlying dynamics of the economy. Although inflation has cooled, the Federal Reserve also acknowledges that policy lags, geopolitical uncertainties, and tightening credit conditions are placing heavier pressure on the outlook.

She stated, "This is a Federal Reserve trying to guide the economy to a soft landing without excessive intervention." Rate cuts may continue, but they will be gradual and only if the data allows
