The goal was to prove the performance and integration readiness of the whole system, which combines sodium metal chloride battery cells with inverters and control electronics. By Inlyte’s account, the system performed as expected and is ready for field deployment. The energy storage market is growing fast, and utilities are looking beyond lithium‑ion.
