The main contract for alumina futures in the domestic futures market, 2601, has fallen below the 2,500 yuan/ton mark, becoming the commodity with the largest decline of the day. As a core material for electrolytic aluminum, the current price of alumina has "halved" compared to the high point of 5,500 yuan/ton a year ago.
