# HIBOR trend | 1-month interbank offered rate stops rising and falls, reported at 3.03952 cents

The one-month Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (HIBOR) related to mortgage loans has stopped rising and has fallen. According to data released by the Hong Kong Association of Banks on December 12, the one-month HIBOR is reported at 3.03952%, down 9.44 basis points from the previous trading day.

## Short-term interbank rates develop individually

Other short-term interbank rates have developed individually, with the overnight rate rising by 10.88 basis points to 1.70810%; the one-week rate falling by 3.20 basis points to 2.03750%; and the two-week rate rising by 3.02 basis points to 2.29048%.

## Medium to long-term rates generally decline

In terms of medium to long-term rates, the two-month interbank rate fell by 3.70 basis points to 3.02696%; the three-month interbank rate fell by 2.80 basis points to 3.02696%. The six-month interbank rate fell by 0.21 basis points to 3.10423%; the one-year interbank rate fell by 1.11 basis points to 3.12679%.
