# BitGo gets OCC approval to convert trust company to national bank named BitGo Bank & Trust; Now operates as a national bank.

In New York, BitGo Holdings, Inc. has been authorized by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to transition its subsidiary, BitGo Trust Company, Inc., from a state trust company in South Dakota to a national bank named BitGo Bank & Trust, National Association (N.A.).
