# Mastercard Dividend Increase - Dec. 9

On December 9, Mastercard (MA) increased its dividend by 14.47%, from 76¢ to 87¢ per share.

The dividend is payable on 9 February 2026 to shareholders of record on 9 January 2025.

MA's contribution to DivGro's projected annual dividend income will increase by $16.28 to $128.76.

I own 37 shares of MA at an average cost basis of $318.12 per share. Following this increase, my yield on cost is 1.09%. (MA's forward yield is 0.61% at $571.93 per share).

Since I opened my position in August 2019, the stock has delivered a total return of 84%, including $477.30 in dividends. That's a splendid annualized rate of return of 11.4%!
