# National Bureau of Statistics: Investment in emerging sectors shows good growth

Fu Linghui, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, stated that China's manufacturing upgrade is steadily progressing, with rapid development in the equipment manufacturing sector and investment growth in certain industries. From January to November, investment in general equipment manufacturing increased by 8.9% year-on-year. The technological updates and upgrades in transportation equipment are also increasing, with investment in the automotive manufacturing, railway, shipbuilding, aerospace, and other transportation equipment manufacturing sectors growing by 15.3% and 22.4%, respectively. Investment in energy green transformation has increased, information technology is widely applied, and investment in related services continues to expand. From January to November, investment in solar, wind, nuclear, and hydropower generation grew by 7.4%, while investment in the information services industry increased by 29.6%. (China.com)
