# XPeng's third overseas localized production project lands in Malaysia

> XPeng announced a partnership with Malaysia's EPMB Group to launch its localization production project in Malaysia, marking its third localization production project globally, with plans for mass production in 2026 to serve the ASEAN right-hand drive vehicle market

On December 15th, XPeng announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with EPMB Group, a large listed manufacturing company in Malaysia, officially launching its localization production project in Malaysia. This is the third localization production project for XPeng in its global layout, following Indonesia and Austria. According to the plan, the project is expected to achieve mass production by 2026, aiming to create a strategic hub serving the right-hand drive vehicle market across ASEAN
