According to pricing details currently shown by the automaker’s website, the new lease will take effect on December 26. It will only apply to the 2026 Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck. The biggest price change will be on the lease of the 2026 Tesla Model 3. The compact electric sedan, the company’s most accessible EV, will go up by 67 percent. The Premium trim lease will move from $299 per month with $1,500 down to $499 per month with $3,000 down. When the upfront costs are included, the estimated effective monthly cost increases from $368 to $616. The Model Y lease pricing is also set to rise. Tesla put the new rate at $549 per month with $3,000 down, from the current $449 per month with no down payment. This results in a 40 percent increase in the monthly cost, which moved from $481 to $667. The first payment and Tesla’s $695 acquisition fee are also accounted for in the new lease. Compared to the Model Y and Model 3, the increase in the Cybertruck’s lease is much smaller. The base trim is expected to rise from $729 to $849 per month on a 36-month lease, an increase of about 14 percent. Buyers have to put in a credit application by December 26 and take delivery by December 31 to secure the current pricing. With delivery timelines of up to three weeks, this may limit eligibility for some shoppers. Over a week ago, the EV maker launched 0% financing on the Model Y Standard as part of their December incentives for their US customers. ### Related Stocks - [Tesla, Inc.
