# Elon Musk reportedly claims that xAI may achieve general artificial intelligence as early as next year

According to foreign media reports, American billionaire Elon Musk stated at a company-wide meeting held at the headquarters of his xAI in San Francisco last week that if the company can survive the next two to three years, xAI will defeat all competitors. The report indicated that Musk claimed xAI would have advantages over other artificial intelligence (AI) companies, as it could secure approximately $20 billion to $30 billion in funding each year and benefit from close relationships with his other companies. Tesla (TSLA.US) had previously integrated the Grok model developed by xAI into its vehicles.

The report also mentioned that Musk stated xAI could achieve general artificial intelligence, reaching or surpassing human intelligence levels, within a few years, possibly as soon as next year. Musk also noted that rapidly expanding power and data capacity would be key factors in achieving superintelligence and becoming the most powerful AI company
