# The semiconductor industry ETF rose nearly 2.6%, leading the U.S. stock industry ETFs

> On Friday (December 19), the Semiconductor ETF rose by 2.59%, leading the sector ETFs in the US stock market. The Biotechnology Index ETF increased by 2.41%, the Technology Sector ETF rose by 2.16%, the Global Technology Stock Index ETF and the Internet Stock Index ETF both gained at least 1.9%, while the Consumer Discretionary ETF fell by 0.4%, and the Utilities ETF decreased by 1.27%

On Friday (December 19), the Semiconductor ETF rose by 2.59%, the Biotechnology Index ETF increased by 2.41%, the Technology Sector ETF climbed by 2.16%, the Global Technology Stock Index ETF and the Internet Stock Index ETF both rose by at least 1.9%, while the Consumer Discretionary ETF fell by 0.4%, and the Utilities ETF decreased by 1.27%
