# CICC's Chief Analyst for Overseas and Hong Kong Stock Strategy, Liu Gang: The essence of the rotation of Chinese assets is that excess liquidity is chasing scarce, return-generating assets

On December 20th, at the "Alpha Summit" co-hosted by Wall Street Insights and China Europe International Business School, Liu Gang, Chief Analyst of CICC's Overseas and Hong Kong Stock Strategy, stated that Chinese assets are continuously rotating and cycling. The essence is still ample liquidity, constantly chasing scarce return assets recognized by everyone, but the scarce return assets recognized at each stage are different. The market can easily reach a consensus. Once a consensus is reached, the possibility of quickly reaching an overdraft cannot be ruled out. Then, there is continuous rotation and feedback loops, and the final phenomenon is extreme differentiation
