# UBTECH ROBOTICS' UQI has signed a cooperation agreement with Volcano Engine

> UBTECH ROBOTICS' smart logistics subsidiary UQI has signed a cooperation agreement with ByteDance's Volcano Engine. The two parties will carry out in-depth collaboration in areas such as joint research on algorithms, product and engineering development cooperation, and the co-construction of data centers and toolchains, forming a closed loop of "algorithm - data - tools." Volcano Engine's multimodal large model and voice algorithms will be embedded in UQI's robotic products to enhance user interaction experience, and UQI's scenario data will also feedback to improve the general model

UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) subsidiary UQI has officially signed a cooperation agreement with ByteDance's cloud and AI service platform Volcano Engine at the FORCE Original Power Conference.

Regarding this cooperation, both parties will engage in deep collaboration in three areas: joint research on algorithms, product and engineering development cooperation, and co-construction of data centers and toolchains, forming a clear implementation path. In terms of R&D, both sides will conduct joint research on key technologies such as general world models, VLM general multimodal base models, VLN general robot navigation models, VLA general robot operation models, Doubao multimodal interaction, and embodied intelligence Sim2Real, forming a "algorithm - data - tools" closed loop. On the application side, Volcano Engine's multimodal large models and voice algorithms will be embedded in UQI's robotic products, providing a new user interaction experience for industrial and logistics complex scenarios, while UQI's scenario data will also feed back to improve the general models, forming a bidirectional iteration of technology and industry
