# The Ministry of Trade and Industry will release preliminary estimates of the economy for the fourth quarter and the whole year next Friday | Lianhe Zaobao

> The Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry will announce the estimated GDP data for the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2025 on January 2, 2026. A survey by the Monetary Authority of Singapore shows strong performance across multiple economic sectors, leading economists to raise the full-year economic growth forecast for 2025 from 2.4% to 4.1%. Economic growth for 2026 is expected to be 2.3%. The manufacturing growth forecast has been upgraded from 0.8% to 5.4%, and the wholesale and retail trade growth forecast has been raised from 2.9% to 4.4%

The Ministry of Trade and Industry will announce the estimated data for the fourth quarter and the full year GDP (Gross Domestic Product) for 2025 next Friday (January 2, 2026) at 8 AM.

Previously, the latest economist survey report released by the Monetary Authority of Singapore showed strong performance across multiple economic sectors, leading economists to raise the full-year economic growth forecast from a median of 2.4% three months ago to 4.1%.

At the same time, due to the continued resilience of non-oil domestic exports and manufacturing, the upward momentum in the economy is expected to continue into early next year, with economists predicting economic growth of 2.3% in 2026.
