The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has ordered NiSource (NI) subsidiary NIPSCO and CenterPoint Energy (CNP) to maintain over 950 megawatts of coal-fired generation capacity beyond the originally scheduled retirement date to enhance the reliability of the MISO grid until March 23
