# The gold ETF rose nearly 1.2%, leading major asset class ETFs in the U.S. stock market, and has increased over 72% this year

> The gold ETF rose 1.17% on Friday, with a cumulative increase of over 72% this year, leading among major asset class ETFs in the U.S. The emerging market ETF rose 0.7%, and the U.S. real estate ETF rose 0.11%. Other ETFs, such as the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500, experienced varying degrees of gains and losses

On Friday (December 26), the gold ETF rose by 1.17%, the emerging markets ETF increased by 0.7%, and the U.S. real estate ETF gained 0.11%. The long positions in the U.S. dollar index, agricultural funds, euro long positions, and Dow Jones ETF saw gains of less than 0.1%.

The Nasdaq 100 ETF, S&P 500 ETF, soybean fund, and U.S. Treasury 20+ Year ETF fell by up to 0.33%, the long position in the yen dropped by 0.41%, the Russell 2000 Index ETF decreased by 0.51%, and the U.S. Brent oil price fund fell by 2.14%.

Year-to-date in 2025, the gold ETF has cumulatively risen over 72%, the emerging markets ETF has increased over 34%, the Nasdaq 100 ETF has gained over 22%, the S&P 500 ETF, Russell 2000 Index ETF, and euro long positions have risen by more than 16%, the long position in the yen has increased by 0.2%, while the long position in the U.S. dollar index has cumulatively fallen over 5%, the Brent oil fund has decreased by over 6%, and the long position in the fear index has dropped by 41%
