# December 29th Midday Review: Shanghai Composite Index rises 0.31% in half a day, robotics and commercial aerospace concepts continue to be strong

The Shanghai Composite Index fluctuated and strengthened in the morning, while the ChiNext Index rebounded after hitting a low. The robotics concept continued to be strong, with stocks like XCC and Fenglong hitting the daily limit. The commercial aerospace sector was repeatedly active, with Shenjian Co., Ltd. achieving an 8-day limit-up, and Aerospace Development also hitting the daily limit. The precious metals sector collectively surged, with silver and colored metals, as well as Hunan Silver, hitting the daily limit. On the downside, dairy stocks fell, with Miao Ke Lan Duo hitting the daily limit down; pharmaceutical commercial stocks declined, with Shuyu Pingmin dropping over 17%. Most individual stocks fell rather than rose, with about 3,300 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing losses, and a total transaction volume of 1.41 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.31%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.03%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 0.32%
