# Over 100 billion yuan of preferred shares redeemed by banks this year

In December, Bank of Beijing, Bank of Shanghai, HZBANK, NJBK, and other city commercial banks successively announced the redemption of their preferred shares, with redemption scales of 4.9 billion yuan, 20 billion yuan, 10 billion yuan, and 4.9 billion yuan respectively, along with Bank of Changsha's 6 billion yuan, bringing the total redemption scale of the five banks in a single month to 45.8 billion yuan
