The three major A-share indices of Shanghai and Shenzhen showed mixed performance in the first half of the day, with robotics concept stocks continuing to be strong

The central parity rate of the RMB against the US dollar was lowered by 17 points today, reported at 7.0348 per US dollar.

The People's Bank of China today (30th) conducted a 312.5 billion yuan (same below) seven-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 59.3 billion yuan of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net injection of 253.2 billion yuan for the day.

The three major A-share indices opened lower and developed individually. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,961 points at noon, down 4 points or 0.1%, with a turnover of 530.4 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 13,568 points at noon, up 30 points or 0.2%, with a turnover of 763.8 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,220 points at noon, down 2 points or 0.06%, with a turnover of 335.5 billion yuan.

Heavyweight domestic bank stocks, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH), fell by 0.8% and 0.2%, respectively. In addition, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (300750.SZ) and BYD Company Limited (002594.SZ) fell by 0.4% and 0.7%, respectively. Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd. (002460.SH) is suspected of insider trading and has received a prosecution notice from the Yichun Public Security Bureau, with its stock price falling by 1.7%.

Gold-related stocks initially fell but then stabilized, with Shandong Gold Mining Co., Ltd. (600547.SH) and Zhongjin Gold Corporation (600489.SH) rising by 0.5% to 2.4%.

Robot concept stocks continued to be strong, with XCC (603667.SH) and Fenglong (002931.SZ) hitting the daily limit again.

Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (00981.HK)(688981.SH) acquired a 49% stake in SMIC North, with a final price of 40.6 billion yuan paid through over 500 million new SMIC A shares, with SMIC A rising by 1.5%. Hua Hong Semiconductor (688347.SH) fell by 0.5%. Cambricon Technologies Corporation Limited (688256.SH) rose by 2.8%
