# Zijin Mining's newly appointed chairman, Zou Laichang, stated that the company will expand its global mineral resource scale

> Zijin Mining, China's largest mining company, announced in a New Year's address by its newly appointed chairman, Zou Laichang, that the company will intensify efforts to acquire strategic mineral resources, focusing on the development of gold, copper, and other minerals, and aim to establish a globally competitive lithium sector. At the same time, Zijin Mining will pay attention to merger and acquisition opportunities with super-large and medium-sized mining companies and increase resource investment and development in key domestic regions

Zijin Mining, China's largest mining company, announced its new chairman Zou Laichang's New Year address, stating that the company will intensify its efforts in acquiring strategic mineral resources, focusing on gold and copper as key development minerals, and fully forming a lithium sector with global competitiveness.
