# The China Concept Index rose about 4.4% on the first trading day of the New Year, KWEB increased by over 4.6%, CQQQ rose about 4.5%, Baidu surged 15%, and Pony AI increased by over 10.8%

> On the first trading day of 2026, the China concept index rose by about 4.4%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed at 7859.65 points, with a weekly increase of 2.23%. The China Internet Index ETF (KWEB) rose by 4.6%, and the China Technology Index ETF (CQQQ) rose by 4.5%. Baidu's stock price increased by 15%, and Pony AI rose by more than 10.8%

On the first trading day of 2026, the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose 4.38%, closing at 7859.65 points, with a cumulative increase of 2.23% for the week.

Among ETFs, the KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF (KWEB) rose 4.64%, the Invesco China Tech ETF (CQQQ) rose 4.48%, the Deutsche Bank Xtrackers Harvest CSI 300 ETF (ASHR) rose 1.43%, and the Xtrackers Harvest CSI 50 (ASHS) rose 1.12%
