During the New Year's holiday, Beijing received 8.808 million tourists, achieving a total tourism expenditure of 10.97 billion yuan. The city's cultural and tourism activities were abundant, with over 1,400 cultural and tourism events in three major categories: New Year countdown, New Year concerts, and winter travel, fully unleashing the vitality of the holiday market. The top ten scenic spots (areas) in terms of visitor reception were Wangfujing, Olympic Park, Xidan, Liangma River International Style Waterfront, Tiananmen area, Qianmen Street, Nanluoguxiang, Shichahai Scenic Area, Temple of Heaven Park, and Shougang Park.
