# China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection: New Era Group's New Era Building in Guanyuan achieves 100% green electricity supply

Recently, New Era Group's New Era Building in Guanyuan, as an important member of the "Xinjiekou Green Power Community," collaborated with China Overseas International Center, Mei Lanfang Grand Theatre, and Yuantong Weijing International Hotel to complete the power system upgrade, achieving 100% green power supply.

New Era Group, together with the three parties, successfully broke through the barriers of cross-industry development and implemented a systematic green power transformation for the 170,000 square meter building complex. The project utilizes renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydro power, boasting outstanding advantages of near-zero carbon emissions and clean sustainability. It not only achieved a complete zero carbon emission in the operational electricity segment but also promoted an overall carbon reduction rate of 78%, actively practicing the national "dual carbon" strategy and demonstrating the responsibility of state-owned enterprises
