Based on preliminary January data, these automakers recorded sales of 1.47 million units in December. Based on last month's structure, China's passenger NEV wholesale sales in December are projected to reach 1.57 million units, CPCA said. This marks the sixth time China's monthly NEV wholesale sales have surpassed 1 million units. In China, NEVs encompass battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and fuel cell vehicles. Detailed figures are expected to be released later this month.
