# Honda Prologue sales reached nearly 40,000 in 2025 with deep discounts

The Honda Prologue was one of the most popular EVs in the US in 2025, even after December sales crashed 88%.

## Honda Prologue sales rise in 2025 despite EV pullback

After launching in March 2024, the Honda Prologue surprisingly became one of the best-selling electric vehicles in the US.

In the second half of 2024, the Honda Prologue rankedthird among EVs, trailing only the Tesla Model Y and Model 3.

Even as new competition arrived, Honda managed to sell 39,194 Prologues in 2025, up 19% from roughly 33,000 the year prior. The majority of the sales came before the $7,500 federal EV tax credit expired at the end of September.
