All three Model Y variants receive the updated center display, replacing the previous 15.4-inch 1080p resolution panel with the 16-inch 2K resolution screen used in the six-seat Model Y L. This adjustment enhances the center display's visual clarity and leverages the proven supplier already used in the Model Y L. Other configurations and pricing for the five-seat Model Y remain unchanged, with starting prices set at RMB 263,500 ($37,730), RMB 288,500, and RMB 313,500 respectively. The six-seat Model Y L starts at RMB 339,000. Tesla China's website today updated delivery wait times for locally produced models. The base Model Y now has a 1-3 week wait, compared to the previous January 2026 estimate. The two five-seat variants shifted from February to 4-6 weeks, according to CnEVPost's daily monitoring. The Model Y L wait time changed from February to 2-4 weeks. All Model 3 electric sedan variants now show a 2-4 week wait, down from February. Tesla today added a new blue paint option for the Model 3. It also introduced 7-year low-interest financing for its entire locally produced model lineup and, for the first time, offered a 5-year 0% financing incentive for the Model Y L. Tesla China's December wholesale sales reached 97,171 vehicles -- its second-highest monthly total -- including both domestic sales and exports from China, according to data released yesterday by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
