# Rwanda's coffee export revenue hits a record high in 2025

> In 2025, Rwanda's coffee export revenue reached nearly $150 million, setting a new historical record. The export volume of unroasted green coffee beans reached 23,860 tons, a year-on-year increase of 39%; export revenue exceeded $148.6 million, a year-on-year increase of 65%. This is mainly attributed to the increase in export volume, the rise in global coffee prices, and Rwanda's continued investment in coffee production and market expansion

The Rwanda National Agricultural Export Development Board recently released data showing that the country's coffee export revenue is expected to reach nearly $150 million by 2025, setting a new historical record, with China becoming one of its main export markets. The data indicates that Rwanda's unroasted green coffee bean export volume will be 23,860 tons in 2025, a 39% increase from the previous year; export revenue will exceed $148.6 million, a year-on-year growth of 65%. The Rwanda National Agricultural Export Development Board stated that this is mainly due to the increase in export volume, rising global coffee prices, and Rwanda's continued investment in coffee production and market expansion
