It will continue to improve the institutional environment to promote the entry of medium- and long-term funds into the market. Morgan Stanley economist Xing Ziqiang pointed out that fields such as artificial intelligence and biotechnology are receiving market attention. CSRC Vice Chairman Chen Huaping mentioned that measures such as long-cycle assessments will be introduced in 2024 to optimize investor institutional arrangements. Last year, cash dividends for A-shares reached a historical high, strengthening shareholder return awareness. Xing Ziqiang also mentioned the trend of depreciation of dollar assets, making renminbi assets attractive for long-term allocation The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) recently stated that by the end of last year, various types of medium- and long-term funds held a total of approximately RMB 23 trillion in the circulating market value of A-shares, an increase of 36% compared to the beginning of the year; the scale of equity funds grew from RMB 8.4 trillion at the beginning of last year to RMB 11 trillion. The authorities will continue to improve the institutional environment for long-term investment, promoting various types of medium- and long-term funds to further increase their market entry scale. At the same event, Morgan Stanley's Chief Economist for China, Xing Ziqiang, stated that fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and humanoid robots continue to attract market attention. CSRC Vice Chairman Chen Huaping attended a forum yesterday and stated that since the introduction of a series of targeted measures, including long-cycle assessments and pilot programs for long-term stock investments by insurance funds in September 2024, the total market value of A-shares held by various types of medium- and long-term funds and the scale of equity funds have significantly accelerated by the end of last year. The CSRC will optimize institutional arrangements for qualified foreign institutional investors, making various types of funds willing to come, stay, and develop well. He further noted that last year, cash dividends from A-share listed companies reached RMB 2.55 trillion, setting a new historical high, which is twice the scale of IPOs and refinancing during the same period, and will strengthen shareholder return awareness, enhancing the stability, sustainability, and predictability of corporate dividends. ## Morgan Stanley: Dollar Assets Show Depreciation Trend Additionally, Xing Ziqiang stated that the fiat currency system represented by the US dollar is experiencing credit erosion, and assets outside of fiat currencies are showing a depreciation trend. Strategic assets such as energy and precious metals, as well as some non-traditional fiat currency system assets, are increasingly favored by the market. He also mentioned that, in a sense, RMB assets can also be viewed as assets outside the traditional fiat currency system represented by the United States, with the key being whether the asset yields can attract long-term allocation. Regarding future industrial allocation prospects, Xing Ziqiang indicated that in the current situation, fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and humanoid robots are highlights, with strong technological innovation momentum expected to continue attracting market attention ### Related Stocks - [MS.US - Morgan Stanley](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/MS.US.md) ## Related News & Research | Title | Description | URL | |-------|-------------|-----| | J.P.
