# Meet Rebecca Rittenhouse, who plays Lexy in Netflix’s His & Hers

Netflix’s latest psychological thriller series His & Hers, adapted from Alice Feeney’s 2020 book of the same name and starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, has viewers captivated with its dark twists and turns.\\nThe show follows an estranged couple played by Thompson and Bernthal who set out to solve a murder mystery, with each believing the other is the prime suspect. But as the limited six-episode series plays out, we ultimately find Rebecca Rittenhouse’s character, newscaster Lexy Jones, guilty for the murder – only to later find out that she was framed. Unfortunately, despite her innocence, Lexy does not get a very happy ending.\\n\\nHere’s everything to know about Rebecca Rittenhouse, who plays Lexy on His & Hers.\\nShe wanted to become an actor when she was five\\n\\nRittenhouse was born in November 1988 in Los Angeles and grew up in Pasadena. In an interview with beauty website Into the Gloss, she revealed that her father’s love for classic films like Roman Holiday, High Society and To Catch a Thief inspired her to become an actress at the early age of five. Unfortunately, when she was approached while in high school by a manager seeking to represent her, she was asked to lose weight. “I enjoyed cheeseburgers too much to do that, and besides, education was also really important in my family, and by that point I thought I had to go down a more normal route in life,” she recalled.\\nRittenhouse went on to pursue a degree in romance languages at the University of Pennsylvania, including French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.\\nShe returned to acting after failed job interviews\\n\\nDuring her senior year at university, Rittenhouse revealed in her Into the Gloss interview, she did several rounds of interviews for various jobs but told herself that if they failed she’d apply for acting school. Sure enough, Rittenhouse ended up attending the Atlantic Theater Company in New York City after graduating from UPenn in 2011.\\nShe made her on-screen debut with a minor role in the 2014 TV series The Affair and went on to expand her portfolio with roles in various TV shows and films such as The Mindy Project, The Handmaid’s Tale, Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood, and Four Weddings and a Funeral.\\nWho is she dating?\\n\\nRittenhouse is engaged to Kyle Robiskie. The couple have reportedly been dating since late 2022 and announced their engagement via social media in 2023, with Rittenhouse sharing a photo of herself showing off her engagement ring with the caption, “Some questions aren’t hard to answer.”\\n\\nBefore dating Robiskie, Rittenhouse is known to have dated Gossip Girl alum, Chace Crawford.\\n
