The People's Bank of China today (15th) conducted a 1,793 billion Renminbi (the same below) seven-day reverse repurchase operation, with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 40 billion reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net injection of 1,753 billion. On the same day, the central bank will conduct a 900 billion buyout reverse repurchase operation. The three major indices of A-shares opened lower. The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 4,106 points, down 0.5% or 19 points. The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,158 points, down 89 points or 0.6%. The ChiNext Index opened down 31 points or 0.9%, reported at 3,318 points. Banking stocks such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) and China Construction Bank (601939.SH) opened down 0.1% and 0.3%, respectively.
