# Central Bank: By the end of 2025, the total assets of asset management products will reach 119.9 trillion yuan, with deposits and certificates of deposit accounting for nearly 50% of the newly added underlying assets

> The Director of the Survey and Statistics Department of the People's Bank of China, Yan Xiandong, stated at a press conference that by the end of 2025, the total assets of asset management products are expected to reach 119.9 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%. Among them, bank wealth management will be 34.5 trillion yuan, public funds will be 14.8 trillion yuan, and asset management trusts will be 22.8 trillion yuan. The funds raised by asset management products will increase by 4 trillion yuan and 1 trillion yuan respectively, with deposits and certificates of deposit adding 4.6 trillion yuan, accounting for nearly half of the newly added underlying assets

On January 15th, Yan Xiandong, Director of the Survey and Statistics Department of the People's Bank of China, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that by the end of 2025, the total assets of asset management products will reach 119.9 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%. Among them, bank wealth management products will account for 34.5 trillion yuan, public funds for 14.8 trillion yuan, asset management trusts for 22.8 trillion yuan, and the total of asset management products from insurance, securities firms, funds, futures, and financial asset investment companies will be 21.6 trillion yuan. On one hand, in 2025, the funds raised by asset management products from households and non-financial enterprises will increase by 4 trillion yuan and 1 trillion yuan respectively, which is an increase of 337.9 billion yuan and 200 billion yuan compared to the entire year of 2024. On the other hand, in 2025, deposits and certificates of deposit will add 4.6 trillion yuan to the underlying assets of asset management products, accounting for 50% of the newly added underlying assets of various asset management products
