# GOME RETAIL issues 25.1 billion new shares to repay debts of 376 million yuan

GOME RETAIL (00493.HK) announced that it will issue a total of 25.108 billion new shares to independent third parties Shanghai Jinbo Ding and China Taiyue Technology, in order to offset the group's debts of HKD 324 million and HKD 52.35 million, respectively. The issue price is HKD 0.015, equivalent to the closing price on the last trading day (16th).

Upon completion, Shanghai Jinbo Ding and China Taiyue Technology will hold 29.61% and 4.78% of the company's equity, respectively, and they act as agents for financial or technical service providers in the group's general and daily business processes
