# Brazilian beef exports stable in 2026 despite Chinese measures, ABIEC says

> SAO PAULO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Brazil is expected to export between 3.3 million metric tons and 3.5 million tons of beef this year, compared with 3.5 million tons in 2025, even after top importer China imposed safeguards to protect the national industry, according to fresh projections by Brazilian beef lobby ABIEC on Monday.ABIEC represents large listed meat producers including JBS (Z98.F) , MBRF (MBRF3.SA) and Minerva (BEEF3.SA) .

SAO PAULO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Brazil is expected to export between 3.3 million metric tons and 3.5 million tons of beef this year, compared with 3.5 million tons in 2025, even after top importer China imposed safeguards to protect the national industry, according to fresh projections by Brazilian beef lobby ABIEC on Monday.

ABIEC represents large listed meat producers including JBS (Z98.F) , MBRF (MBRF3.SA) and Minerva (BEEF3.SA) .
