The Hang Seng Index closed at 26,487 points, down 76 points or 0.3%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 5,683 points, down 66 points or 1.2%. The National Index fell 39 points or 0.4%, closing at 9,094 points. The total market turnover was HKD 237.766 billion.

Tencent (00700.HK) closed at HKD 601, down 1.5%;
