# Apple plans to reshape Siri into an integrated chatbot to counter OpenAI

> Apple plans to make significant changes to Siri later this year, transforming it into the company's first artificial intelligence chatbot, codenamed "Campos." This chatbot will be deeply integrated into the operating systems of iPhone, iPad, and Mac, replacing the existing Siri interface. Apple plans to make significant changes to Siri later this year, transforming it into the company's first artificial intelligence chatbot, codenamed "Campos." This chatbot will be deeply integrated into the iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems, replacing the existing Siri interface. Users can still wake up this new service by using the voice command "Siri" or by long-pressing the device's side button. The capabilities of this new solution will far exceed the current Siri, including: analyzing screen content, accessing personal data, searching the web, creating content, generating images, summarizing information, and analyzing uploaded files.
