China Eastern Airlines (CEA) has revealed plans for a significant distribution of consumption vouchers totaling over 100 million yuan ($14.35 million) in 2026. The launch event for the 2026 "Shopping in China" and New Year Consumption Season introduced this initiative, as part of a nationwide campaign to boost consumption. This campaign is a collaboration between China's Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The upcoming initiatives will feature special promotions and activities across the country in an effort to stimulate spending.
