The Hang Seng Index closed at 26,749 points, up 119 points or 0.4%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 5,798 points, up 35 points or 0.6%. The National Index rose 46 points or 0.5%, closing at 9,160 points. The total market turnover was HKD 240.872 billion.

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 168.5, up 2.2%;
