From continental Europe, the gainers were led by telecommunications company Ericsson (ERIC) and biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) , which climbed 8.9% and 8.6% respectively. They were followed by medical device maker EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) and telecommunications company Nokia ( NOK ) , which advanced 6.4% and 3.5% respectively. The decliners from continental Europe were led by furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ) and health tech company Royal Philips (PHG), which fell 2.6% and 1.8% respectively. They were followed by internet browser company Opera (OPRA) and 3D printer company Materialise (MTLS), which lost 1.7% and 1.6% respectively. From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Amarin ( AMRN ) and pharmaceutical company Silence Therapeutics ( SLN ) , which rose 4.5% and 3.3% respectively. They were followed by mining company BHP Group ( BHP ) and oil and gas company BP (BP), which were up 2.9% and 2.6% respectively. The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) and biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) , which dropped 4.6% and 2.7% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) and insurance firm Prudential (PUK), which were down 1.8% and 1% respectively.
