# Last year, the value added of wholesale and retail industries in mainland China increased by 5% year-on-year, reaching a record high of 14.6 trillion RMB

The Ministry of Commerce of China announced that by 2025, the added value of the wholesale and retail industry in the mainland will reach 14.6 trillion yuan, setting a new historical high, with an annual growth of 5%, accounting for 10.4% of GDP. Among them, the retail sales of warehouse membership stores and unmanned stores maintain double-digit growth, indicating a good momentum in the development of the wholesale and retail industry, providing strong support for the comprehensive expansion of domestic demand and the construction of a strong domestic market
