> In 2025, China's total retail sales of consumer goods for the year will exceed 50 trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 50.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.7%. The contribution rate of consumption to economic growth will reach 52%, an increase of 5 percentage points

Today (January 26), the State Council Information Office held a press conference on the business work and operational situation for 2025. The press conference introduced that with a dual drive of "policy + activities," the "Buy in China" brand will be created, continuously releasing consumption vitality. The total retail sales of consumer goods for the year exceeded 50 trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 50.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.7%, with consumption contributing 52% to economic growth, an increase of 5 percentage points
