On the evening of January 21, 2026, SHAW BROTHERS announced that it plans to acquire core film and television assets under its major shareholder, Huaren Culture, including the drama production company Zhengwu Yangguang, through a rights issue, with a transaction price of approximately 4.577 billion yuan.
