# People's Daily published an article: In the 10th year of China's commercial space industry, when can we achieve rocket reusability?

Experts have done the math: the major cost of rockets comes from the engine and the rocket body, with the cost of the first-stage rocket body accounting for over 70%. Once the reusability technology is broken through, allowing the rocket body and engine to be recovered and reused can reduce the total launch cost of rockets by 40% to 60%
