# Google Cloud officially announces a price increase, with prices doubling in North America

> Google Cloud announced that it will adjust data transfer prices starting May 1, 2026, with prices in North America doubling to $0.08/GB (previously $0.04/GB). Prices in Europe and Asia have also been increased to $0.08/GB (previously $0.05/GB) and $0.085/GB (previously $0.06/GB), respectively

Google officially announced an adjustment in data transmission prices for CDN Interconnect, Direct Peering, Carrier Peering, etc., effective May 1, 2026, with prices doubling in North America. North America: $0.08/GB (previously $0.04/GB) Europe: $0.08/GB (previously $0.05/GB) Asia: $0.085/GB (previously $0.06/GB).
