# Story Protocol (IP) has extended the unlocking of tokens for investors and the team to August, and will collaborate with a major AI company in Q3.

Story Protocol has postponed the vesting of early investor and team tokens, originally scheduled for February 2026, by six months to August of this year to reduce short-term selling pressure and market volatility. This plan has been approved by major investment institutions such as a16z and Polychain Capital. The board stated that this move aims to avoid anticipated selling before the vesting and will allocate the next six months to drive revenue growth, PMF verification, and a collaboration with a large AI company. Under the adjusted plan, investors will vest 25% in the 18th month after TGE, with the remainder released linearly monthly until the 42nd month. (Bloomingbit)
