California: Victor Valley Transit Authority unveils hydrogen buses and fuelling station

The Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) has launched 13 hydrogen fuel cell buses and an interim hydrogen fuelling station in California's High Desert. This initiative builds on previous clean transport efforts, including renewable natural gas and battery-electric buses. VVTA's Chief Maintenance Officer highlighted hydrogen technology as a natural progression for sustainability. The project, supported by various federal and state bodies, aims to enhance zero-emission transit and improve air quality. Additionally, VVTA introduced a new branding to strengthen regional recognition and reflect its commitment to clean mobility technologies.
